Xolani I want to thank you for your very wonderful review of my song "Travelers in Time" how refreshing it is to hear some real insight. Very few people on Broadjam actually listen to the music for what it is but rather what they would have it be. An insightful review such as yours is truly hard to come by. Xolani, I just LOVE your reviews! They're the best ever. I wrote Porch Swing for a little old lady named Mary Sauls. My husband and I had just moved to the little country town of Callahan, FL. He began pastoring a little country church. I took a walk one day and met Mary. We got acquainted on her porch swing and became the best of friends. I wrote the song for her. I have an album called Porch Swing and she and I are on the cover. Eventually we moved out of that tumbledown parsonage and built our own home nearby. We called it Porch Swing Place in honor of the Porch Swing lady. And we installed a porch swing on our front porch. One of the saddest days of my life was the day I went jogging and saw the police cars out in front of Mary's. She fell down in the bathroom & went home to be with Jesus at age 97. I tell her story and sing her song at a lot of my performances. Thank you for honoring my song with your review! I feel like we are musical friends...you understand my songs! Thank you! Mrs. Kate
