Story Behind The Song
I and a few guys I know were cheated on. It seems people naturally assume when a couple break up it wasn't because the woman cheated. So I try to speak for all of the good guys who chose the wrong woman
Song Description
I originally wrote this song from a male point of view. The song is slightly different in that the woman is supposed to be the one who was adulterous. I was hoping the dark tone of the music and lyrics could emote that. The vocals on the chorus i think enhance the emotion. Although I wrote this song and it was recorded by human musicians. This version is a regeneration from Suno. The stems were mixed and mastered. I have all of the stems from the original version of the song. The vocals are AI due to it being difficult to find a human singer with the same vocal range and ability

Lyrics
Verse 1: Every minute I was loving you/ Souls so entwined I was living you/But your steel words cut right through/ Guess I'm seeing the real you
(prechorus) In your heart I put my trust/now it's fading into dust/Your betrayal was unjust/A heartache we just can't adjust
(chorus) Angels weep in skies of gray/ Raining down on love decayed/ I guess it's time for me to say/I'm leaving you today.
(verse 2) Every moment that once mattered/has been thrown away and scattered/ Your voice in my head it clatters/ My sanity now all that matters
(prechorus) In your heart I put my trust/now it's fading into dust/ Your betrayal was unjust/ A heartache we just can't adjust
(chorus) Angels weep in skies of gray/ Raining down on love decayed/ I guess it's time for me to say/ I'm leaving you today
(solo)
(prechorus then chorus)
