I write my songs based on things and people i know and love as well as the experiences i have had. I would like to sell my music to recording artists like Kelly Clarkson, Hillary Duff and anyone that would be willing to buy one HAHA =). I hope you enjoy what you hear and thanks for listening.

HELLO- I'm Shannon Marsyada,I live in West Hazleton Pa.,
I've been writing music as long as I remember (i'm not too good at this bio stuff) I turned up the juice when my father died at the age of 13. Music became the outlet and friend i needed. I've tried to quit... but i feel like I'm going explode every time. I have 2 albums and hundreds of songs in" limbo." I've been performing in my town and surrounding areas for 4 years( Im athe proprietor of a karaoke company)- but thats getting old-so I'm spilliing my guts with some original stuff. My objective is to write songs for stars ie. dido -celine dion,kelly clarkson..etc. so that i can be home and stay with my children (i have 3 beautiful babies) instead of working 2 jobs on top of the family thing.
I have recorded these tracks at my home on my 8 track recorder in my "free"time...My current venues include The Valley Country Club The Ramada Inn in Hazleton pa... the Golden Cue Lounge in Hazleton also hosting a benefit in may - karaoke contest- to raise money for juvenile diabetes research.... i have recently been networking and performing at various open mics in nyc.including the bitter end, I dont particularly care what aspect of music im involved in- it has just been a part of my life and i love all of it and hope to pass some creative genes to my offspring if they are interested in learning.. i also have been hired to perform at weddings several times a year via word of mouth as i am too cheap to advertise... also starting up a party business with my friend -to coordinate functions as well as entertainment... i placed in the top 1500 in the world billboard songwriting contest 2 years ago and i have wrote wedding/ anniversary songs independently for people- i even wrote my highschool graduation song and also several xmas songs on which were featured on compilation albums for charities... i am not published - i feel i need direction and im hoping taxi will give me that.
these songs ive posted are only a few of my originals -im in the process of recording more and contemplating posting some of my old ones... i feel like i sound like a chipmonk on them though because i was only 15 when i did my first album and 17 when i did the second,,, i feel ive grown much through the years but i am forever eager to learn more...
