PARADOX PLAYGROUND

Thank you Music of the Sea Publishing for picking up our song Power!

Paradox Playground has great stories to tell. In a world where adversity knows no limits, Paradox Playground crafts songs that celebrate the human spirit. Their songs blend infectious pop with results that are both contemporary and timeless. They write dance music infused with rock and classical influences with some pop ballads. There are uplifting, inspirational story songs, fantasy excursions, and songs raising philosophical questions. You may hear a unique and beautiful blend of Sia, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Ellie Goulding combined with Sarah McLachlan. Through the international impact of internet radio including Women of Substance Radio, they have fans in 33 countries.

Judy was a grand prize winner in the San Diego Songwriters Guild competition, has won three Billboard Song Contest achievement awards, two UniSong International Song Contest achievement awards, and was named a "Highly Commended Artist" in the Windrift Songwriting Contest. The Southern California transplant has come a long way since growing up in the Bronx. Her previous band, Aerial Au, performed at clubs in New York City like The Bitter End, Le Bar Bat, The Baggot Inn, The Elbow Room, Lion's Den, DownTime and Spiral. Her move to the West Coast resulted in meeting her creative partner, Jim Beggs, who, coincidentally, is a native New Yorker himself.

In addition to providing the musical backbone for Judy's vocals, Jim also is a living testament to the duo's illuminating perspective. An Air Force veteran and cancer survivor who runs thousands of stairs as part of his workout regime, Jim is a best-selling author with two inspirational books to his credit - and he applies that same spirit to Paradox Playground. He is a classically-trained pianist, was the keyboardist for a full-time touring regional rock band, and wrote all the songs and instrumental music for "The Brain Game," a play that helps parents learn techniques to assist early brain development in their children.

Independent of each other, Judy Calem and Jim Beggs have great stories - together, as Paradox Playground, they translate those stories into great songs.

Hi
I have been listening to your music on Broadjam and I genuinely appreciate the authenticity in your sound. It feels natural and cinematic, the kind of vibe that can translate well beyond just streaming platforms.

I work with independent artists to help position their music more strategically, especially when it comes to being industry-ready, refining presentation, metadata, branding, and overall profile structure so it aligns with what decision-makers are actually looking for.

Out of curiosity, are you currently aiming more toward sync placements, or focused on growing your streaming audience?

If you're open to it, I'd be happy to have a brief, no-pressure chat about your direction and explore whether there's a practical way I can support what you're building.

Either way, keep creating, your sound truly stands out.

Hi, Judy and Jim. Your remasters of "I'm Still Here" are wonderful. Your first remaster has the audio interest with highs and lows of volumes, different instrumentation, and carries through different feelings, though less intense as the VP version, it has more the feeling of getting closer to relief of making it through. Your newest VP remaster packs an incredible punch emotionally. The pounding keys and wailing vocal have struggle, determination, and resolve in them! It's an incredible performance and my personal favorite of the two. Both are terrific and both give me a different feeling and reaction. John

Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and for your feedback! Really impressed with all the details you heard and felt! Didn't know until recently that mastering by an expert that does only that for a living can make such a big difference. Stay healthy and creative!

Angel: I love the arrangement of bass notes, plucked strings, from minimalist to full orchestration. I'm studying it for a song I'm working on now. Your Europop style of instrumentation is masterful.
