Ellen Gibson-Kennedy is a Boston-based, outdoorsy indie musician with a playfully edgy vibe. Steeped in the ethereal brew of Stevie Nicks and Delores O’Riordan, and the profound, poetic coffee of Patti Smith, Gibson-Kennedy brings a textured force of nuance and grit to her lyrics and vocals, delivering an earthy, lustrous sound reminiscent of Aimee Mann and Liz Phair. Gibson-Kennedy teamed up with Michael Costelloe on the single, “How Will I Know When I know You,” a vibrant, contemplative tune.
