Hey Bill, Thanks for the review of Hey Little Scrub Jay. It was a specialty song I wrote for a group of Eco-Troopers at an elementary school in Sebastian, FL. They loved to interact with the scrub jays in the natural area behind their school. The property was going to be sold to developers. This amazing group of kids raised over $300,000 and bought the land, which was deeded to the city of Sebastian as a nature preserve for the scrub jay forever. I was blessed to be a part of this by writing and performing the song to celebrate their achievement. That was a long time ago. Your review helped me to remember the story. Hey Bill. Mike from Jetstream (formerly). I'm blasting Desert Rose right now. Killer song, sir! I listened to it before when you mentioned you record. But relistening now and more closely paying attention, it's really freakin good. I know it's cliche when people say this, but it should be a hit. It's got all the elements. Even a little auto tune sprinkled in i think I heard. Great stuff.

Still listening. That song is a damn masterpiece. Many parts...Not just the usual intro, verse, chorus structure. And a very nuanced use of the Auto-Tune. I love how you teased the chorus part 'desert rose' harmonies..

Hi Bill, Thanks for your review of I'm In Love Tonight. Your comment regarding recording levels got me listening again and it turned out that although it sounded fine played within the DAW, for some reason it reduced in overall gain when it was exported. I never noticed it so thanks for your help. You've got some fine tracks on your page, good luck with them. Bob

Thanks for the review on "A Million Fireflies". Backing would probably be a good idea actually. Christina does amazing backup but she's been busy lately so I'll put it on her todo list. You thought the song sounded "country", interesting, I would have never thought ...hmm. Cheers :)
Thanks for stopping by. The song as is has a very pop vibe, but a stronger potential for a country track, addition of some mandolins or acoustic riffs would be needed to give it a more traditional country sound. - Bill - thanks for the comments.
