Hey, good question. I checked out a few, but *"Troublin' Times.."* and *"Lookin Down On Me"* stood out to me right away. There's a raw, authentic feel there that actually fits well with the kind of material supervisors tend to look for. That said, what caught my attention wasn't just the songs themselves, it's that you've got a *decent-sized catalog*, which is a big advantage if it's positioned the right way. Are you currently organizing your catalog with any licensing direction in mind, or just uploading and letting it sit?
it's a constant work in progress.. I prolly won't ever finish the job since I have close to a thousand songs from wonderful artists all over the world.. the body of work dates back to the 90's
I hear you, and honestly, that's more common than you'd think, especially with catalogs that go that far back. The upside is, having that kind of depth puts you in a very different position than most artists. The challenge is just that without a clear structure behind it, a lot of good material ends up sitting unseen. I'm not talking about "finishing everything" either, it's more about identifying what's already there and making sure the right pieces are positioned to actually get opportunities. Out of curiosity, have you ever had any of your tracks placed or pitched for film/TV before?
469 submissions to broadjam in the last 20 yrs with no placements and now about a dozen submissions to taxi since last september with no placements
