Hello Steven. My name is Susanna Vapnek. I'm making a documentary on a musician named Roland Ro binson who played with Morgan "Jerry" Norris. Is it true that Mr Norris has passed away? If you could email me at suvapnek@gmail.com it would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hello Sue,

Yes, I am sorry to say Jerry Passed away a few year back. He was working on a CD with me, and never reveal to me he was in the advanced stages of Cancer. He was always very positive and supportive.

I am not familiar with Roland Robinson? The Jerry I knew lived in Memphis in the 70s and had played with Sam and Dave, Issac Hayes (background singer), and his brother had played with Eddie Floyde before he injured his hand.

I met Jerry when I lived in Washington DC.

It this the same Jerry?

Regards,

Steve

Hello Sue,

I googled Roland Robinson.....yes we are talking about the Sam Jerry.....Jerry Spoke of the new Catus Band.

Let me know if you need anything from me to help you with your project....although I knew Jerry Latter on....much after his time playing with Roland.

Regards,

Steve
