Originally started as a jazz performance workshop by Stephen Ellestad in March 2011, several months of weekly performance and the addition of key members led the way for the Five Points Jazz Collective to become a uniquely compelling jazz/fusion band. Since transitioning into a dedicated jazz combo, the FPJC has become known for its energetic performances and unique and refreshing interpretations of standards and staples in the swing, bop, post-bop, latin and fusion styles.
