Story Behind The Song

Have you ever been stuck in a snow storm? I wrote this song when our town was paralyzed by a 3 day snow storm. watching the snow fall almost endlessly for 3 days was an inspiration. It's a feeling I will never forget. When I play the piece I try to recapture that feeling. In the middle of the song where the tempo moves a bit I felt like life was trying to come back to normal but it took over 3 days for that to happen.Everything was SO STILL.

I like minor keys and this song is in c# minor. It can be peaceful, inspirational and hopeful. Compared to some of my other songs it has a unique ending.
