There are missionaries everywhere in Africa
The Phillipines and the far east
People going out to share the word of God
Never lose their vision in the least

There are so many that have need of the Word
All the downtrodden and the poor
But have we overlooked someone who's been right here
What about the soul that lives next door

He might have a family in need of God
But no-one's noticed him at all
Just because he doesn't live in Africa
Could he be the one we should call

Everybody needs the love of Jesus
Every friend and neighbor that we know
Welcome them all into the House of God
Even if they live just down the road

Tell us how you've been
Bring your friends and family and your neighbors too
The house of God is always there for you

All our missionaries are heroes in His eyes
When they get a calling they respond
To go out and teach every single nation
Near or far or way across the pond

Should know what to do
