Story Behind The Song

I was inspired to write a love song, and I didnt want to write just any or a typical love song. I wanted to introduce something light fun and different.

Song Description

I had heard a beat and instantly began writing and the first thing that came to me was ice water. After I got the idea of the song title which is ice water, I leaned towards finding a melody and trying to tell my or an audience clever ways Im referring to ice as my love interest. I wanted to keep it light and fun so it sounds bright and catchy with a pop flare/hiphop cadence over a contemporary jazz instrumental to top things off and bring it all in to cultivate the atmosphere I added vanilla Ice's chorus from his hit single Ice baby.
